The Register desires a good correspondent at Dexter, Wordon, Manchester, Scio, Ypsilanti. The wind Thursday afternoon did some damage to corn fields, fences etc. It also turned John Stollstimer's wind-mill completely over almost if not entirely ruinlng it. Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Clark gave a party last Priday night. Miss Ruth Lutkins spent Sunday at her grandmother's, Mrs. Haines. Miss Ida Cadwell left Saturday for Washington, D. C. WEBSTER. Rev. Mr. Hollister, ot Howell, preached last Sunday morning at the Congregational church and afternoon at M. E. church. Last Saturday evening the Arena reorganized into the Webster Literary Circle. Miss Crozier visited Miss McColl last week. The Webster Farmers Club meets this week at A. W. Merrill's. SALE!?! VILLtUK. Mrs. Jennie Smith entertained the Ladies Aid Society this weeK Wednesday. Mrs. Harvey Packard visited her son Fred Packard of Detroit the first part of the week. The reading Circle of the Lapham Epworth League will meet at H. C. Packai-ds this week Priday evening. Witliam Berry died at his residence one mile east of Peebles corners last week Wednesday. Mr. Berry was an old resident of Salem andmuchrespected by all who knaw him. Funeral services were held E'riday afternoon.
