Quebec, Nov. 9. - The steainer Montevidean, which has just arrived from London, brought several cases of new rifles and ammunition for the Canadian military autlhorities. The consignment is part of a large order prepared by the imperial government for shipiment to Canad. Large shipments of arms and ammunition to Canada have a greater interest, in view of the reported projected increase of the British Noröb. American squadron at Halifax.
