Wales Makes Heavy Winnings

Loiulon, Oct. 5.- By winning the Jockey club stakes of $50,000 at Newmarket on Thursday last, the prince of Wales' colt Persimmon has brought its total winninge up to ?U4.380, apart from the considerable amounts which his royal highness is understood to have won in bets.
