Sherman Denies The Rumor

Washington, Dec. 1.- Senator Sherman of Ohio has given a statement making a flat and emphatic denial of the reports concerning a deal between himself and Mark Hanna as to the Ohio senacorship and cabinet position under McKinley. Mr. Sherma& fays that the stories alleging an arrangement whereby lie (Sherman) should go into the cabinet and Mr. Hanna succae-1 him in the senate ars pure fabrications.
