Insurance Men Meet

Chicago, Dec. í. - The nintli animal convention of the International Association of Accident Underwriters opened at the Palmer house this morning with an attendance of the leading offlcers of the leading companies of the country. C. H. Bunker, the acting president of the association, called the convention to order. The morning was taken up with the reports of officera and routine business. The report oí the executive committeo showed that during the past year the various accident insurance companies had receivei over $12,000,000 in premiums, and paid out half that amount for losses and added largely to the reserve funds.
