Retirement Of Lord Rosebery

Lord Rosebery, who has been th leader of the liberal party in Englaná ince the rstirement of Mr. Gladston, kas resigned that posltion. His reast la that he disagrees with ther libera! leaders, and especially with Mr. Gladtne, as to the proper oomrs for England to take wlth referente to the Armenian question. He rl-rs the Armenlan atrocities with as much abhorrence as Mr. Gladstone, but differ from him on the question of separate action by England. Lord Rosebery regards suoh action as out of ths tlon, and certain to precipítate a war whose results -wouíd be more shocking that the massacres wíhich occasionod it.
