These bonds are to be sold to defray the expense and to enable the City of Anji A rborto construct a lateral sewer in lateral Sewer District No. 5 and are authorized by a sper.ial act of the Leisl ature of the State of Michigan, entitlpd "An act to authorize and empower and enable the City of Ann Arbor to contruct and maintain a s.vstem di sewera and to raise the Decussary raoney therefor," approved by the Governor of tho State of Michigan May 21, 1893, also b.v virtueof an ordioanoe entitled "An Ordinance Relativo to Sewere, Etc.," duly passed by the CVmmon Couneil of said City May 21, 1894. and approved May 23, 1894. The above mentioned bonds will draw interest Trom August 27, 1890 at 5 per cent. perannum payable at the offico of City Treasurer of the City of Ann Arbor. Th'e principal will mature in four equal aniiual installments and ure payahle on or befcre the flrst day of Marub of each year.
