Rolling Mill Employes Strike

San Francisco, Cal., Dec. 11. - Tíie employés of the Pacific rolling milis, numbering 125 men, are on a strike )ecause of a reductlon in wages. The usiness of the milis lias been poor for eine months and not long ago the men were notlfied tB&t a reductlon must be. made either in the number of employés or in the amount of their wages. The management decided to try the latter plan, but -nhen wages were cut on (iece work 28 per cent of the employés struck, declaring the wages paid did not suffice for their support.
