Carl Schurz Re-elected

Philadelphia, Pa., Dec. 12.- At the ;ession of the Civil Service Reform association to-day the following offlcers ivere re-elected: President, Cari Schurz of New York; vice-presidents, Charles Francis. Adams of Boston, Augustus R. VIcDotiough of New York, J. Hall Pleasints of Baltimore; Henry Hitchcock of 3t. Louis, Franklin MacVeagh of Chicago and William Potts and Rev. Henry C. Potter of New York. Archbishop P. J. Ryan of Philadelphia waa also clected vice-preeident to fill the vacancy eaused by the dekth of RightReverend S.teven N. Ryan.
