Hausou, deputy sUeriff, wner of the town site and a wealthy man, gave a dance last night, to wtücb Thomas BIrd, a cattleman and rival magnate, canje uninvited. He was roraptly shot twice and killed by Hanon, who is now in custody. The hooting was the result of a trivial uarrel.
