New York, Dec. .- The HamburgAmerican steamship company has discoatinued ite service from Germany to Galveston, which was inaugurated several months ago, and it is said that the North Germán Lloyd will also take off lts Galveston ships. The reported cause of the vvithdrawal is that the new lines did not pay.
