Perkins Will Be Senator

Sacramento, Cal., Jan. 6.- The senatorial flght, now that the question oí patronage has been settled, is the allabsorbing topic of conversation about headquarters of the law-makers. Fiftyeight ñames have been attacheü to the petition which was circulated among the members of both houses by the Perkins forces, and it is claimed that the necessary number of votes required to re-elect the senator have been secured and more are coming.
