Hon. A. tl. Sawyer left Monday fcr Lansing. Miss Olive E.Luickis visiting friends la Northfield. A. E. Jennings of Detroit was in the city on business Tuesday. Prof. F. L. Keeler, of Mi. Plëasant, spent last Sunday in the city. Mrs. Thomas Kennedy, of Jackson, is visiting relatives in Ann Arbor. Walter Crego is spending tho week with his parents at Napoleon. Prof. R. H. Kempf visited Víctor Wideman, of Saginaw, New Years day. Mr. and Mrs. Loren Hopkins, of Owosso, visited frienás here last week. Clement, tormerly of this city, now of Wheeling, W. Va. , was in the city a short time last week. Mrs. N. G, Cochran of Toledo, carne here last Wednesday to visit her paronts, Mr. and Mrs. John Moore. Miss Ada Clark, of Sagina nr, is spending a few weeks with her uncle, and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Burris, of the North Side. Prof. A. F. Rockwell, who has bee spending the past two weeks at hi home n Chelsea, returned to his schoo duties at Howell, Monday morning.
