Washington, Jan. 4. - A meeting of the California republican 1 al delegation was called for Friday to ) agree on a candidate for the cabinet to be recommended to President-elect McKinley, but the delegation adjcurned until Monday, as Senator Perkins and Representatives Johnson and Barham were the only persons present, the others being out of the city.
