Virginia Bank Suspends

Washington, Dec. 30. - Comptroller of the Currency Eckels has telegraphed notiie that the Commeriial Nation Bank of Roanoke, Va., has closed its doors and suspended payment. Bank Examner Sands was sent to take charge of the icstitution. Mr. Eckels does not regar;! the failure a serious one.
