At the annual meeting of the Wash. tenaw Farmer's Fire Insurance Co., held yesterday at the Court House, there seems to have been somo politics mixed in with the insurance matters. The meeting was held for thu purpose of electing three directora, and I transacting such other business as might come before the meeting. But it appears that the silvermen got together, and if a sound money man made his appearunce for an office, he was immediately set down upon. This aroused considerable opposition all through the meeting. Wiien the smoke had cleared away it v.'as found [ that the follovving had been elected di rector, the flrst two being silver men ; I R. C. Keeves, of Dexter, in place of Edwin Ba'l, o.' Webster; A. R. Graves, ofYpsilanti; in place of Wm. Campbell, of Pittsfield ; and John F. Spafford, of Manchester, who was re-elected.
