Unfortunately her royal papa met her and her suite one morning and he was so angry that all ;he suite were well scolded and the princess herse'f was kept in the palac for three weeks and was not permitteii to attend any of the court festivitiea for the following month. The queen of Rurltania agrees with her royoal husband ín bis dislikeforeycling.andvery stringent court rules have been advertised, rlosing many paths and thorouglifarea to the ever-whirling wheel. One day her majesty was walking out with her dogs when aeyclist carne along one of the shady allcys near the palaee. The indignant queen stopped the cyclist and informed him that bieycles were not permitted near the royal abode. The cyclist, who must have been an ill-bred churl, then proceeded to cxpostulate, garnishing his language with sundry words such as in England aro usually represented by the fourth letter of the alphabet and a dash. The bewlldered queen started iu astonishment, and her lady-in-waiting, coming up opportunely (for sho had lingered behind to gather sorac flowers at her majesty's request) asked the rude bioycliat if ho knew he was addressing the sovereign lady of his country. The abashed cyclist was so overwhelmed nt this information that he said not a word hut moimted his blcycle and fled away, and. report says, never atayed his wheel till he reached - let us say the capital of the adjoining kingdom.
