It has been suggested that the Y. M. C. A. would make a wise move by purchasiag the site opposite the Court House and erecting a building suitable for the Y. M. C. A. purposes' and for city offices. Tliis would give the city a better location for its offices, where, too, they could be beated from the fire depai-tment at a saving to the city. The rent would nut be more than the city ie now paying. This would give the Y. M. C. A. a steady and responsible tenant right from the start. Such a proposition should meet with great favor. The city certainly would have no heeitation about assisting the Association by renting offices in its building if a better louation and just as good or better offices aro furnished, and near enough, too, to the lire department building to onable the city to heat its offices at a Ies8 expense. The Regist KR commends this suggestion to the Y. M. (J. A. as one worthy their carefol consideratloa.
