Sun Strokes

The intense heat that prevailed here last week was tb& causo of great djs tress, and a number of sun strokes resulted. One strange thing about the sun sirokes was that the victims would collapse after very slight exposure, wheü simply walking about and without having undergone any great exertion. One physician, who has praeticed here many years, says that such a hot wave has never been known here be fore, Among the victims are: Fred. Schnierle, Ann Arbor, dead; Fred. Podewell, Northfield, dead ; Mrs. Anna Green, Superior; Will Kearns, Ann Arbor; C!aud Randell, Ann Arbor; Robert McCarthy, Ann Arbor; August Lutz, Ann Arbor; Dr. Marten, Ann Arbor; Miss Emma Feiner, Ann Arbor. Henry Schnierle, Ann Arbor.
