Saturday evening several student? of the University Summer School, together withother students, mot and organizad a literary society. Aftor the adoption of a constitution the following offlcers were elected: L. O. Davis, Pres. ; Charles Adams, Vice-Pres. ; B. B. Johnson, Secy.; Wm. Sanger, Treas. ; Romanzo Adams, Marshal. Tbe society has arranged for three meetings each week, to bo held to the following schedule. On Tuesday and Thursday at five o'elock in Alpha Nu Hall and on Saturday. at 8 p. m., in Adelphi Hall. The first two meetings wül be informal, but at the third a regular program will be rendered. AH persons interooted in literary work are oordially invited to be present.
