Train-wrecking
State legislatures are just beginning to recognize the delibérate wrecking of a raílroad train, when attendeJ with loss of líe, as essentially murder, to be puniahed accordlngly. -The New York leglslature, at ita recent session, passed a law making train-wrecking which resulta in death a crime subject te the death penalty; and in Michigan, uhich does not impose the death penalty for any crime, the legislature passed a law lmposlng imprisonment for Ufe Ín such case3. In Nebraska the guppeme court announces the principie that trainwreoklng implies a general mallce aforethought, which makes it unnecossary to prove particular malice against an individual who may be killed.
