The Dmgley tariff blU U now the law of the land. The last step necessary was taken at the White House when the President afflxincr his signature with a pen presented lor the purpose by Rep. Dingley. The sig-niug of the bill occurred in the cabinet room in the presence of Secretary of the Treasury Gage, Atty.-Gen. MoKenna, Postmaster-General Gary and Seeretary Wilson, Repa. Diugley and Hager and Private Secretary Porter.
