The fourth aunual convention of the Michigan association of sheriff s and chiefs of pólice was held at I'ort Huron. Many mattevs of interest were diseussed and officers were elected: President, ex-Sheriff C. P. Collins, of De troit; vice-president, Sheriff George E. Mallory, of Port Huron; secretarytreaurer, John P. Sanborn, of Lansing.
