One of the steamers which recently left Seattle for the North .carried two of Mlchigan's greatest football men who go to try their fortunes on the Klondyke. These are G. R. Villa, better known as "Count" Villa and T. J. Drumheller. Both are well-known to university people and to all others who have paid any attention to western football during the past four years. With them went another student, G. H. Allen, '99 law. Allen is a son of U S. Senator Allen, from Washington.' His home is in Seattle while hls two companions live in Walla Walla. It is not certain whieh route they will follow but they wih probably take the dangerous overland trip which has proved fatal to so many adventurers. All three have money and are not driven to the Klondyke by financial pressure but go in hopes of suddenly amassing wealth and to gratify a long. ing for adventure.
