Kansas City, Mo., Aug. 24.- T. B. McQregor, the Kansas official of the Mlners' National associatlon, has held a conference here with B. T. Hughes of Illinois and H. Jones of Virginia, and neither of these gentlemen cared to discuss the nature of their conference. Mr. Hughes says the minera of the west would not strike In sympathy, but to redress '.heir own grievances.
