Fred Gauss is visiting in Pontiac. F. S. Simons was in Detroit, Sunday. Prof. B. A. Hinsdale and wife are at Mackinac. Mr. and Mra. M. J. Cavanaugh are visiting in Paw Paw. Dr. D. M. Tyler has returned trom a summer vacation in Lesiie. Patrolman Armbruster is taking his vacation from the pólice forcé. James H. Mayes has loft here toopen a law office in Indianapolia, Ind. J. D. Ryan spent Wedaesday at Zukey Lake, fishing and hunting. Lewis Fenton, of this office, is spending his vacation at Grand Kapids. Al. Q. btevens, oí Lynden tovvnship, has moved to 54 S. Division-st., this city. Professors A. H. and J. G. Pattengill with their families are in' Charlevoix. Mrs. D. M. Tyler is in town again after a stay of some weeks in Frankfort. Mr. S. A. Moran, editor of the REGISTER, is in Chicago on business this week. Ex-Mayor W. E. Walker is in town from Zukey Lake for a few days on business. Mra. Griffln and son, of E. University, have returned from a two weetcs' vacation. Miss Lizzie Clancy is again in this city after a visit with. her Bister ia Toledo. Prof. G. P. Coler has returued from his vacation trip and is now living on Volland-st. Mr. George Moore and wife are en tertaining Mr. and Mrs. G. C. Has cali of Cleveland. Miss Mildred Ware. of .the North Side, has returned from her summer's vacation at Scio. Marshal Sweet met with an accident Monday, which i-esulted in tile breaking of his buggy. Mrs. Dr. Palmer, of E. Ann street, has returned from a vaeation trip to the White Mountains. Mrs. ti. M. Beach has moved to 14 S. Ingalls, where she will be found from now on by her friends. Dr. Milton R. Stimson will leave for Adrián in a fewdays, at which place he will open a dental office. Miss Bertha Mills, Miss Hartshorn nd Airs Emma Mayhew spent last week at Whitmore Laké. Eugene Helber, editor of the Neüe Washtenaw Post, has moved to this city from Saline, and is now living on Milier-ave. J. P. Hamilton, the blind stuáent, wrestlor and piano timer is again in the city and is in the old home next to the School of music. Mr. Frank Sessions, lit '88, son of J. Q. A. Session?, of thiscity, was in town Monday. Mr. Sessuns is now a banker [ in Columbus, Ohio.
