The season's program of the Unity Club wül be opened on Thursday efening, Sept. 30, at the Unitaria n cliurch, by the celebrated Prancis Hughes concert company, of Chicago. This musical coinpany includes some of the best artists now before the American public. Miss Francia Hughes ia 1 edly the flrst Lady Harpist in the country. For three seasona she has been the lcading attraction of the i'amous Schubert Male Quartett of Chicago. She studied with the great Germán Harpist, Schnecker, who ia now with Thomas' Oroheatra, and with Hasselmanns, of Paris. Sha is the youngest daughter of the late David D. Hughes, of Grand Eapids, the well snown Michigan jurist. Mr. Rawson WaJe is aa EnglUh Baritone, who, after studying in London, and making a fame throughout England as a concert and oratorio singer, came to the United Statea as Solo Baritone with Frederick Arher, the English Organist. Later he was Baritone and Musical Director of the Schubcrt Quartet. Miss Appy is the daughter of the famous Dutch Cellist, Ernest Appyf and is herself one of the finest 'cellists in the world. Miss Lester and Miss Van Frank are both artists of ability. Mis3 Lester has studied both in Europe and with Frederick Koot, of Chicago, and is especial ly noted as a bailad singer. Such a combination is one that uo lover of music can aíTord to miss.
