Karl Harriman was in town Sunday. Patrollrnan David uollins is taking his vacation. Glen 'V. Mills was in Piint Friday and Saturdaj'. Mr. and Mrs. N. J. Kyer have returned from Denmark. Dr. and Mr3. George Moran, of Detroit, were ia thiscity Saturday. Dr. Copeland attended the M. E. Conference at Port Huron last week. Ho we A. Williama left ye3terday for New York where he will study art this year. Frank Mclntyre has accepted a position as salesman for the Ann Arbor Organ Co. Walter Mack is now in New York purchasing goods for the fall and winter season. Or. Mary Wood-Allen is lecturing in Marshall and other western Michigan towns this week. O. H. Hans, '98 lit., came in from Peloskey Monday and lelt for his home in South Bend, Ind. Edward Lewis has returned to Ann Arbor after a pleasant summer spent chiefly at Hovrell, Mich. Dr. Mosher, the woman's deán, has returned from her outing in New York and now lives on Volland st. Miss Eda M, Clai-k has gone to Louisviile Keotucky where she will teach scienccs in the female seminary. It. H. Elsworth, of Ludington, who was with '96 two years, has returnsd and will atteud college this year. George Halier is at Wliitmore Lake this week'covering the foot ball praetice for Detroit and Chicago papers. Marshal Sweet asks us to state tbat he will promptly prosecute anybody shooting quail within the city limita. Miss Mable Williams, daughter of Dr. Ira C. Williams, of Cheboygan, is visiting her uncle, Iiev, T, B, Williams, of 12th street, G, D. Wheeler, 1900 lit, of Paukling, Ohio, is in the city. He will leave to morrow to attend the Michigan mining school at Houghton. Mr. John Schultz, of Chicago, and Mrs. Marsraret Schultz, of Norristown, Pa., are visiting Mr. and Mrs. Simon Meyers, of Spi-ing-st. Mr.s. Dr. Cunningham and family, of Ba 'City, returned home Saturday after a very pleasant visit with friends in this vacinity and Salem. Miss Bertha Sheldon, of Ann Arbor, called on friends nero the last of the week. She was the euest of Miss Rena Smedley. - Owosso Times. Mr. Fred Busb, of San Francisco, California, who has spent the past year in Germany, has been in Ann Arbor the past few days caliing on old friend?. He will leave this week for home.
