W. C. T. U.

A verj appropriate service in honor of Miss Willard's birthday, was held at the M. E. church Sunday evening. The last of the Sunday evening union services was conducted by the Pres. of the W. C. T. ü., several of the pastors assisting. Mrs. Öunderland gave a most interesting account of Miss Willard's work as teacher and leader. Misa Rose Wood-Allen gave a brief sketen of her earlier life. There will be no meeting of the W. C. T. U. next Thursday, as it will be Fair week and just before the opening of the Universit3'. The Washtenaw county W. C. T. U. convention will be held Oct. 12 and 13 at Chelea. Il is hoped a many will 1 attend as possiblè.
