Four important and sensational suits were filed Thureday morning in sommon pleas court at Toledo by Charles S. A3hley, executor of the last will of {.hp late LJoy. Raines -M. Asijley. One js. againt Wellington ty. B,urt of Saginaw, who was appointed receiver of the Ann Arbor li'y it was supposed by the Ashley interests, which asks for a judgment of $35,000 on account of certain land which is claimed was deoded te Burt, but never paid for. Another Buit is against Mr. Burt and the Aan Arbor road, in whioh it is charged tbat they converted to ttoeir ówn uses $3i,PÓQof toxvnsliip b.opds belopging to Gov. shley. ïhe third is against (Jeorgo W. QitiQtórd and qthers of N, V-, who conjpoeöt} tha rcoi'ganUation commlttce of the Al)n Arbor road, and ís to recover tho value of 182 sharei of the preferred stock of tho now company. The fourth sult Is for the value of two locomotivas, claimed to have beon the property of the late J. M. Ashley, but now held by tho railrj id oompuny.
