Havana: Señorita Evangelina Cassio y Cisne ros, the beautiful young Cuban patriot, who was ünprisoned several Dionlhs ago bccause she refused to submit to the Spanish governor of the Isle of Pincs, has escaped from the prison in Jlavana. When search was made for lier the attendants found that one of the iron bars of the room in which -she lias been con fin ed had been iiied and bent outward. All the circumstances go to prove the co-operation of outsider:-; iu her escape. Americana Jtnpllcated. The New York Journal confesses that two young men, commissioned to secure the liberty of Señorita Cisneros by aesisting her to escape, were employee! by that paper; that they ren ted a house adjoining the jail; that they managed to send a note, a file and a box of drugged candy to the young woman, notwithstanding she wa.s Ín cominunicado. Miss Cisneros divided the eandy among her fellow prisoners and they soon fell iuto a stupor; she then out one of the bars of a window whieh faced a window of the house adíoining the jail; she was then assisted into that house and was shortly placed in a carriage and driven to a waiting vessel and was soon on her way to the United States.
