It registers the number of deatbs throughout the counties of the state, the death rate and all important causes of mortality. The annual death rate for Michigan is 13.4 out of every thousand persons. That of Washtenaw county is 9.7 out of every thousand. The number of deaths in this county during September is 35. The city of Ann Arbor has an annual death rate of 13.9 per thousand and the number of deaths for September was 14
