Two venerable ciergymen who were travellng In an elevated train ín Chicago the other day noticed a beautiful boy, with the typical angelic face seated opposite them with his mother. "Ah, me!" eiclainied one of them, "will we ever be as pure and innocent in the nest world as that dear little boy opposite?" His companion was just going to make a suitable reply, when the dear little boy broke out as follows, in a volee that could be heard all through the car: "Mamma, If I had a pistol, I'd shoot those two old crows across the aisle."
