It now seetns almost eertaia that an electrio line will be built from Detroit to Ann Arbor. Last week articlus of incorporaciĆ³n were liled in Lunsiufor the eompany which will bo knowu as the Detroit, Ana Arbor & Yysilanti Electric Railwav. The capital stock is $400,000, and among the inoorporators are James D. Hawks, president of the Detroit & Machioac railway : S. F. Angus, John C. Liggett, Obadiah Bingham, and M. J. Griffin, of Detroit. It is intended to build from the present terminus of the Detroit Electric railway on Michigan avenue, in Sprlngwello, to the city line of Yprilanti, connecting Uere with the Ypsilanti & Aan Arbor motor line, and, probably, eventually cjjnsoliƶating with it. Contractor M. J. Griffin will begin work at once and it is hoped that the cai-3 will reach Wayne by next spring.
