Spring is here! You can tell by all that snow... I mean SUN that's out lately! Another thing that is here with spring is a sought after fungus, the morel mushroom of the genus Morchella. Morel hunting is a favorite pastime among many Michigan mushroom hunters, and this ELUSIVE mushroom is a gourmet DELICACY around the world. Morels have MANY varieties, but let's see if we can learn more about MICHIGAN MORELS.

I looked through every single search result (all 591 of them) for "morel" (without quotes) and didn't find anything that looked even close to the photograph as described. I also searched "Eldon" and "mushroom" and several other terms. I am positive that I am in Community Collections - Photos. Any help?
