Perry E. Palmer, 91, died yesterday at his home at 544 Thompson St. after a long illness. He was born July 14, 1861, in Maybee, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Palmer. He had lived in Ann Arbor for 27 years.

Mr. Palmer was married to Clara Phillips of Milan, on Oct. 13, 1886. She died March 10, 1945.

Mr. Palmer was a retired carpenter contractor, and he was a member of the First Nazarene Church in Ypsilanti.

Survivors include one daughter, Miss Eva Palmer of Battle Creek; and three sons, Omar Palmer of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Dr. Norris Palmer of Detroit and J. Neil Palmer of Milwaukee.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Muehlig Chapel, Rev. L. A. Wilson of Ypsilanti officiating. Burial will be made at Memorial Park in Battle Creek.
