Know Kerrytown Pt 2
Welcome to week 2 of our exploration of historic Kerrytown! This week we're going to take a look through the business district! As we learned last week, Kerrytown had many residential and community social hubs for the Black and African American communities. The area was ALSO a hub for Black-owned businesses. The Ann Street Black Business District in particular was a site of BOOMING BUSINESSES starting all the way back in the 1870s!

The link in the first clue doesn't work. But the one in the badge description does...
Thank you for catching that, it is corrected!
I give up. The second code cannot be found anywhere.
Here's another hint: This Beauty Shop operated from 1943-1960 on 211 N Fourth Ave!
I am having trouble finding the very last code word and I have tried every imagineable way to find it but to no avail
Your last search term is the three word name of the Block mentioned in the clue (make sure to include the word Block!). If you limit your Community Collections search to Photos, you will find your code in the third result. This photo you're looking for is a street scene from March, 1954!
These community badges are great. There is an 'e' missing in seeking in the description for the image on the last clue.
"The welter of small stores and apartments on the second and third floors has been labeled a fire hazard by those seking passage of the city hall proposals on April 5. "
Thank you for playing! Thank you for catching that typo in the image caption as well, that has been corrected!
