Mrs. Sarah Hogan
CLINTON - Mrs. Sarah E. Hogan, 86, of 311 Jackson Ave., Clinton, the widow of Frank Hogan, died Friday afternoon at Herrick Memorial Hospital in Tecumseh following a cerebral hemorrhage.
Mrs. Hogan was born April 24, 1872, at Huntsville, O., a daughter of James A. and Sarah McCurdy. She and Mr. Hogan were married in 1903. He died in 1938.
She was a member of the Clinton First Congregational Church and a former member of the Clinton Woman's Club.
Survivors include a son, James A. Hogan and two grandchildren, James A. Hogan, jr., and Jack Hogan, all of Battle Creek; and a sister, Mrs. Adele Sullivan of Urbana, O. Two sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at the Proctor Funeral Home in Clinton, with the Rev. Richard Staples officiating.
Burial will be in St. Dominic Riverside Cemetery at Clinton.
