Robert A. Stralnic
MILAN - Robert A. Stralnic, 50, of 435 Anderson St., Milan, died suddenly at St. Joseph's Hospital, Ann Arbor, Thursday afternoon.
He was born June 7, 1884, in Czechoslovakia, a son of Paul and Mary Stranic. He came to the United States at the age of nine. Mr. Stralnick was married to Minnie Auten on Oct. 31, 1914, at Azalia, Mich. They made their home in Milan. She died on Aug. 23, 1946.
Mr. Stralnic was a molder at the Ideal and American Foundaries in Milan for 41 years. For the past four years he had operated a factory luncheon service.
He was married to Laura Casey at Inkster on April 19, 1947. She survives.
Also surviving are three sons, Louis of Ann Arbor, Paul of Saline and Frank of Adrian; two step-sons, Lyle A. Carey and Robert T. Carey, both of Fredericksburg, Va.; six grandchildren; and three brothers, Paul, Gustav and John, all of Milan.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the Stevens & Bush Funeral Home with the Rev. William M. Hughes officiating. Burial will be in Marble Park Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
