What's one of your favorite reads from the Library's Black Lives Matter reading lists?
Each week, a few AADL staff members have a brief chat where they answer one question – from "What's your favorite classic?" to "What book didn't live up to the hype?".
Join the conversation in the comments section. What book would you have picked for this week's Biblio Files?
This video premieres on AADL.TV.
I found "White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide" by Carol Anderson to be a powerful and informative read. I also enjoyed "The Fire Next Time," but I am a big James Baldwin fan. He was a true master of words, fiction and nonfiction alike.
Thanks for your comment! I also found "White Rage: The Unspoken Truth of Our Racial Divide" to be very compelling. As a fellow James Baldwin fan I recommend "Begin Again: James Baldwin's America and Its Lessons For Our Own" by Eddie S. Glaude Jr.
We appreciate you tuning into Biblio Files!
