Members of the police and fire departments, in full uniform, this afternoon attended the funeral service of Matthew Heininger, fireman, who died Monday morning from injuries received when the truck on which he was riding to a fire was wrecked on the evening of Jan. 23.
Flags on the fire department and city hall buildings were at half staff during the rites at the residence on North Main St. and at St. Paul's Lutheran church. Fellow firemen bore the casket to its final resting place in Forest Hill cemetery where a great floral tribute adorned the grave.
