In this part of our BLM discussion series we are highlighting books that explore how Black people move through the world. This discussion series celebrates Black authors and books, across genres, across time, and across the African diaspora. 

This month, join AADL staff and other community members for a discussion of The Misadventures of Awkward Black Girl by Issa Rae. A collection of humorous essays on what it's like to be unabashedly awkward in a world that regards introverts as hapless misfits, and Black as cool.
