Description

Drop off extra seeds that you have harvested from your garden or just pick up something you would like to grow. Flowers, vegetables, herbs, and bulbs are welcome. You do not need to drop seeds off to take some home.

This event is in partnership with Matthaei Botanical Gardens.

Will the library have a bunch of empty envelopes or other receptacle to put seeds into, or should we bring them ourselves? I have a giant paper bag of zinnia seeds. Should I portion it down into smaller envelopes?

Yes, we will have some small envelopes and pens for labeling available during the event! You are welcome to divide up your seeds into smaller envelopes in advance, or let others pack and take what they want, your preference. Thanks for your interest and see you at the swap!
