Description
Join poet and presenter Leslie McGraw for a 1.5 hour workshop and learn about various journaling techniques, how to mine journals for patterns, poems, and stories, how to review poems for connection (as opposed to scholarly review), and engage in a couple of guided reflections.
Participants may bring a notebook or journal and something to write with. Materials are also provided.
Leslie McGraw is a community marketing strategist, poet, and emerging literary activist. Owner of Les Go Social Media Marketing and Training, Leslie began sorting out her surroundings through writing in third grade following a move with her family to a new school district. She discovered her voice through the pen, maturing into a performance poet, blogger, online content writer and freelance journalist. Today she lends this voice to advocacy, where she is passionate about helping others share their stories of struggle and victory as an empowering tool to restore and strengthen communities.
