Description

Local fiction writers Janet Gilsdorf and Ann S. Epstein discuss their journeys to becoming writers and their process of blending real and imagined events in their writing.

Janet Gilsdorf and Ann S. Epstein both began writing later in life while pursuing demanding careers. (Gilsdorf is a pediatrician, and Epstein is a developmental psychologist.) Both published novels this fall—Fever (Gilsdorf) and One Person's Loss (Epstein). They learned their craft through participating in short-term writing workshops and local writing groups, rather than through MFA programs, and have been members of the same writing group for the past decade.

This event includes a signing and with books available for purchase.
