Carolyn Striho is a Michigan songwriter, singer, and musician whose songs are “from the silver edge of midnight (All Music Guide).” From her early days in Detroit with an art/punk pop sound to her current evocative, enchanting music, Carolyn’s alluring vocal delivery with powerful rock and roll has hypnotized crowds for years onstage and on her recordings. Carolyn was on the Grammy Awards First Ballot 2022 for Best Spoken Word Album for her poetry audiobook “Detroit (Maiden Energy)” and on the Grammy Awards First Ballot 2018 for Best Rock Album for “Afterthought”. She has 11 Detroit Music Awards and a Billboard Award. Los Angeles’ Music Connection magazine just named Carolyn’s duo of she and Scott Dailey, her guitarist/husband, as one of the Hot 100 Live Unsigned Bands in the U.S. for 2023. Carolyn has performed on tour and worldwide with Patti Smith, producer/bassist Don Was, saxophonist Dave McMurray, guitarist Randy Jacobs and keyboardist Luis Resto, Yoko Ono, Steve Earle, Tori Amos, Sinead O'Connor, and many iconic artists and Grammy award winners.
