Carpenter School Board plans to open its new five-room building at Dayton Dr. and Central Blvd. in Pittsfield township for classes on Monday, Sept. 29. The opening date was delayed because the new building was not ready.
Registration for all pupils in kindergarten through sixth grade will be held at the new school on Friday, Sept. 26.
Seventh and eighth grade students in the Carpenter district will be transported by bus to Roosevelt School. No special registration day is planned but classes will begin Monday.
The Carpenter Community Organization will meet at 7:30 Monday in the old school building to elect officers and discuss textbook distribution.
