Public Art Expedition

Lace up your walking shoes and slather on the sunscreen: we’re goin’ on a walk! This badge will take you through Downtown Ann Arbor and Kerrytown as you visit lovely works of public art commissioned by the City of Ann Arbor. 

The Ann Arbor Public Art Commission is an advisory body to City Council with the goal of creating public art in Ann Arbor that improves the aesthetic quality of public spaces and structures and provides cultural and recreational opportunities that contribute to local heritage, stimulate the economy and promote the general welfare of the community.

Pro tips:

• This badge will take about 20 minutes of walking time to complete. 
• The codes you seek will be embedded in the art itself–do not look for signage from AADL.

GETTING THERE

Driving? There are various paid parking lots and spaces in the area near the starting point! Street parking in Ann Arbor is free on evenings, Sundays and all holidays observed by the City of Ann Arbor.
