Description

In this workshop for educators, participants will learn a brief history on the Taiwanese Moon Lute instrument and music appreciation. Four Moon Lutes will be provided for hand-on experiences. Additionally, paper dragon and paper snake crafts will be taught. These crafts are part of the Chinese Zodiac and provide lots of fun to go with Lunar calendar and celebrations. Basic templates will be provided. This is a hand-on and experience sharing workshop.  Educators of all experience levels are welcomed. 

This event is in partnership with the Michigan Taiwanese American Organization.
