Super Search Three!

Imagine a word-search, but you've got to figure out the words, too! Meet the SUPER SEARCH: SPECIAL BICENTENNIAL EDITION!

In this A-SHAPED grid, there are 25 hidden words (forwards, backwards, or diagonally) that fall under FIVE categories. Circle the answers as you find them—like with a traditional word-search, letters can be used in multiple words.

When you are finished, there will be 4 letters that aren't used in any words, which, when written in order, will give you your final code.Your FIVE word categories (with five words each): Names of the Ann Arbor District Library Locations, Ann Arbor Sister Cities,  Ann Arbor Mayors (last name), Cities in Washtenaw County, and Long-time Restaurants in Ann Arbor (30+ years).

All words have at least 3-letters, are not plural, and do not use abbreviations.  No words are contained entirely within other words. Though no answers are plural, some of the restaurant names are possessive (i.e. end in S) Note that there are alternative spellings of one of our sister cities; if you think you've found it, you PROBABLY have!

I love these super search puzzles! But the A shape, while fitting for our bicentennial, was perhaps too easy to complete.

I agree! I think it may have to do with how long you’ve lived here? We’ve only been here 3 years so I didn’t know a single mayor besides the current one off the top of my head, and certain restaurants I didn’t know were “institutions” in town. But I’d do the super search no matter how hard or how easy! I adore it.

It's a long list but the ones we need are more recent ones. I actually only found 4, but along with others it was enough for me to figure out the final code.

Restaurants do need some local knowledge, but I guess some googling may be helpful?

I managed to fill in the entire puzzle except the code, but never figured out thee last restaurant. Would you be willing to email me the list??

I'm not someone who ever sits down to complete a puzzle, but I have been enjoying completing the weekly super search puzzle!

I can't figure out the 5th restaurant or the 5th mayor, and the remaining letters don't seem to contain a sensical code. Can I get a hint?
